Thanks to Eva at mrow.net for sending me a patch for my template to make this site more compatible with other browsers.
FYI, I didn't write the code myself, so I am not really aware of the issues it may have. I'm not a genius when it comes to code (which is why I got this design from someone else), so Eva's suggestion was highly appreciated. Thanks again, Eva! Thursday, September 04, 2003
A new feature has been added. Now, when new patterns are added to the list, an icon will appear next to them that says
These icons will not stay up forever, so you should check back often. They will be removed after each large update, or after a significant period of time has passed. Tuesday, August 26, 2003
More patterns added today, including a few purses, sweaters, childrens items, and more.

I have posted over 200 more links to free patterns. More links coming soon!
Let me know if any of the links don't work, or if they act funny. Wednesday, July 30, 2003
Welcome! This site is still a WIP, but keep checking back because more patterns will be added to the list soon. In order to navigate the site, click the tabs up above. One will take you to my personal project gallery with information and pictures on some of the things I've made. The other tab will take you to a list of links to free patterns all over the web. The list is small right now, but it will become much larger in the future! If you have any questions/comments/suggestions send me an email!

Jonathan's Birthday Afghan

Date Finished: July 3, 2003 Yarns Used: Caron Simply Soft in Black and Dark Country Blue Pattern: My own design Comments: Boy, was I glad to have this finished. It was worth all the time just to see the big grin on his face when I finally gave it to him.

FCEK Katrina Wrap Top
Date Started: June 23, 2003
Date Finished: July 22, 2003 Yarns Used: Paton's Katrina in black Pattern: From the Spring/Summer 2003 issue of Family Circle Easy Knitting Comments: Very easy pattern to make. Despite it taking me a month, it really was fairly quick to knit up. It only took me that long because it wasn't the only project I was working on at the time. If I made another I think I might omit the rolled edges on the shoulders, and opt for a thin, flat border instead.
Cherry Twist
Date Started:July 5, 2003
Date Finished: July 9, 2003 Yarns Used: Galway Irish Wool and Kitten Mohair, both in ivory colors Pattern: Cherry Twist, and Very Cherry from Knitty Comments: I still need to block it, and reinforce the sides a little bit. It's a snug fitting pattern, but it knit up in no time at all. Because of how quick it was, I may make another, more colorful one in the future. Also, there were some errors in the pattern where certain numbers didn't add up to what they were supposed to, so it took a little bit of improvising.
Tahki Ravello Shell
Date Started: July 24, 2003
Date Finished: N/A
Yarns Used: Tahki Ravello in Lilac
Pattern: Free pattern for the shell with detatchable cowl on Elann.com
Comments: I didn't know what this yarn was like before I bought it, but it was such a great price on Elann.com (70% off) that I figured I'd give it a try. The yarn is relatively easy to work with, but feels sort of "plasticky" as you run the yarn through your fingers. But, it looks nice knitted up, and should make an interesting shell.
Felted Tote Bag
Date Started: July 5, 2003
Date Finished: N/A
Yarns Used: Patons Classic Wool in Navy
Pattern: From Simple Knits For Sophisticated Living
Comments: I'm sort of stalling on this project because I'd like to add either a few more stripes of color, or some novelty yarn to the bag so it's not just a boring, solid blue.
